HERN Námestovo – 2x CHP units « engul 380 GAEH »

base aggregate (fuel –natural gas) – ignition engine Perkins, generator Stamford
– electricity production 2x 309 kWe, 400 V / 50 Hz, island parallel operation with mains (MDS)
– heat production 2x 123 kWt high potential in thermal-oil (VPT, 220/245°C) + 2x 239 kWt medium potential in water (SPT, 70/90°C) and 2x 38kWt low potential (NPT, 35/40°C)
– cold production 200 kWt
This project was executed within the framework of increasing of energy efficiency in the customer production plant. Company Engul, s.r.o. provided for customer advisory and consultant works connecting with design of energy circuits, suitable multifunctional circuits in process of production (CHP unit – technology solution; design, fabrication, supply, installation and commissioning of the CHP units; accumulation tanks for heat/cold; technology equipments and circuits VPT, SPT, NPT; absorption cooler; etc.)
Both CHP units were delivered in silenced containers. There was also the heat-exchanger as part of Engul´s delivery, for cooling medium: thermal-oil / air, designed for drying furnace, which is located in paintshop production hall and switchgear for distribution of produced electric energy for customer´s own consumption.

Company HERN, s.r.o. Námestovo, due to execution of this project, was assigned among to laureate of the 1st annual award EFEKTIA 2017.
Price is awarded by Association of Energy Services Providers (APES-SK), (www.apes-sk.eu) in cooperation with Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency (SIEA) and Slovak Committee for Green Buildings (SKGBC) for the best projects of energy efficiency.
